School days are exciting, but it can also be strenuous even for young students because tough competition is rampant from the start. Students compete for grades and even for the attention of the educator. Students have a strong desire to emerge on top or to cope with the rest of the class. This is true in Singapore, which persistently leads global academic lists. While the nation prides itself in giving quality education to their youth, the pressure to keep up with the system lies with the students. And because they need help in their studies, most Singapore students are enrolled in private tuition.

Many parents who want to help their kids cope with the pressures of school appoint a tutor in Singapore. But some children, studying the same lessons that they have been taught in school is wearisome and mentally exhausting, particularly if they have trouble understanding the lessons the first time. Home tuition doesn't work to add to the pressure of the students. Quite the opposite, it is designed to relieve students the demands of school by preparing and helping them comprehend the lessons better so they can keep up with the rest or even top the class. There are many other students in one classroom, so if one student cannot catch up, the teacher can't hold back and wait for them. This is one of the benefits of home tuition. It helps address the students' needs because the tutor can focus on the learning of one student. The course runs based on the student's individual learning ability too.
