It may surprise you to realize there are many different types of fitness activities so there should be something for everyone. The program you choose will determine the physical fitness benefits you experience, so if you lift weights, you won't experience the same benefits as a distance runner or those who jog. It stands to reason that you can increase your strength and overall flexibility with the right kind of exercise.
