Vitamins are compounds within food, that really help us to become healthy and fit. These organic compounds assist in the functioning of the numerous metabolic systems in our body. Vitamins are found naturally in the various foods, which we consume and now we can also obtain vitamins as vitamin supplements. Vitamins also assist to protect our own bodies from diseases and infections. Vitamins will also be essential for the formation of varied enzymes and hormones with the body which control the metabolic activities including digestion, circulation excretion etc.

There are approximately eleven types of vitamins, which are required for the body. A Vitamin is vital for that proper functioning in our eye and in addition it acts as an anti oxidant preventing certain oxidizing chemical reactions, which affect our own bodies. Vit A can be obtained from leafy green vegetables, broccoli, carrot, yams, pumpkin, papaya etc. The B group vitamins include thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, cyanocobalamin and biotin. They are needed for the appropriate functioning of our nerves but for the conversion of food straight into energy by the body. Additionally it is important for the appropriate functioning of various metabolic activities of our own body.

B can be obtained from cereals, beans, fish, lean meat, fruits and vegetables, dry fruits, nuts, milk, egg, soy beans, etc. B Vitamin-12 can be acquired only from animal sources like liver, egg, meat, cheeses etc. B group vitamins are very important to the amino acid metabolism, nitrogen metabolism, and for the healthy skin. Ascorbic Acid can be obtained from citrus fruits including lemon, sweet lime, oranges, grapes, grapefruit etc. Vit. C is important for the prevention of diseases and infection. It also helps from the absorption of iron. Vitamin D can be obtained from sunlight. It is vital to the bones and teeth. It is usually needed for the expansion individuals body. Vitamin E D-alpha is central to the antioxidant. It may be purchased from whole grain products, asparagus, wheat germ, corn, leafy green vegetables and seeds.

If you do not take a proper good diet then you might are afflicted by vitamin deficiency health issues. Deficiency of Vitamin A could cause problems related to eyesight like night blindness. Insufficient Vit . B could cause diseases like Beriberi, Anemia, poor capacity diseases, etc. Lack of Vitamin C causes gum bleeding, weakness, appetite loss, tiredness etc. Insufficient vitamin D causes deformation of bones and teeth. Insufficient vitamins in food leads to illness. An easy way of filling the nutritional gaps on account of poor diet regime is using nutritional vitamins. These nutritional vitamins can help us to boost our disease fighting capability and to develop stamina.

It is usually preferable to take vitamins in general from food sources rather than synthetic vitamins. Taking synthetic vitamins is a lot more like taking half vitamin and our own bodies treats natural and synthetic vitamin differently. It's very important to provide our body with natural nutrients for protecting various organs and the entire body functions. Our own bodies needs whole vitamins, that happen to be found naturally within the foods such as grains, vegetables and fruits rather than vitamin supplements.
